BMS-341400 reduces the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), thereby enhancing nitric oxide (NO)-mediated relaxation of the smooth muscle of the corpus cavernosum and promoting erection. BMS-341400 can be used to study erectile dysfunction.
