Aureothricin is a dithiolopyrrolone antibiotic that exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as strains of M. tuberculosis. It is also reported to inhibit tumor angiogenesis, blocking activity of the vitronectin рецептор integrin αvβ3.
