Miconazole nitrate is an 14-α demethylase ингибитор and potential glucocorticoid рецептор антагонист that inhibits ergosterol synthesis and fungal клетка wall formation. It is used to treat fungal infections and is especially active against Candida. It also decreases expression of HIF-1α and VEGF in breast cancer and glioma cells.
